Steal Meghan Markle’s Maternity Style with These Looks for Less

From her formfitting black Hatch dress to her vibrant purple Aritzia ensemble, here’s how you can dress like the Duchess.

All eyes are always on Meghan Markle’s fashion choices, and her pregnancy style definitely doesn’t disappoint. The royal mum-to-be recently sported her first maternity outfit, a figure-hugging black Eliza dress from Hatch Collection that she paired with a stylish tan Oscar de la Renta trench coat, for a surprise visit to a London charity on Jan. 10. Days later, the Duchess of Sussex made even bolder fashion moves when she joined Prince Harry for a Jan. 14 appearance in Birkenhead, England, where she revealed her due date (she said she’s 6 months along) and the fact that she’s not afraid of bright colors (she wore a vibrant red wrap coat by Sentaler and a purple Babaton by Aritizia dress). While some of her styles have quickly sold out, we’ve found affordable pieces for fans of Meghan’s sleek maternity looks that won’t break the bank.

Meghan Markle wearing a red Carmonoudi Cashmere Overcoat and a purple Kimi and Kai Shannon Maternity Dress

If Meghan’s striking, fire-engine red Sentaler Wrap Coat looks familiar, it’s because she’s also worn the same style in camel. For a red-hot look of your own, this Carmonoudi Cashmere Overcoat ($140; amazon.com) is the perfect pick. The elegant wrap style can be worn without the belt, making it easier to cover a growing bump. While her satin Babaton Maxwell thigh-high slit midi dress is no longer available, this Kimi and Kai ‘Shannon’ Maternity Dress ($88; nordstrom.com) is a flattering alternative. The purple, stretch jersey dress features a pleated skirt and can be worn without the belt for a look more like Meghan’s. The Duchess’s gorgeous Gabriela Hearst Demi Leather Tote (which she also owns in green) is sold out but typically retails for $1,800; you can have a similar handle on her look with this lovely Get the Looks leather Nina Bow Bag. ($69; amazon.com).

Showing that a classic trench never goes out of style, Meghan’s stunning Oscar de la Renta coat was the perfect topper to her outfit. For a flattering style that works in any season, this khaki-colored Zeagoo Open Front Trench Coat ($52; amazon.com) is sure to stand out! While few sizes of Meghan’s flattering and formfitting Hatch dress are still in stock, this stylish Nom Maternity ‘Hailey’ Maternity Dress ($88; nordstrom.com) is a great look for less. Meghan complemented her ensemble with a $1,400 Victoria Beckham Black Vanity Top Handle Bag, but we like this Neiman Marcus Mini Double-Sided Faux-Saffiano Lady Bag ($75; lastcall.com) because it’s much easier on the wallet. Meghan’s Gianvito Rossi “Plexi” cow-print pony pumps added a fashionable flair to her neutral look. They’ve since sold out, but you can give your LBD a fierce touch for a steal with these Gianni Bini Jeklyn Western Cow Print Pointy Toe Pumps ($71; dillards.com).
