Jet-setting mum-to-be Meghan Markle made a whirlwind trip to New York City last week to be feted by close pals who co-hosted an intimate baby shower for the royal in the Grand Penthouse at the Mark Hotel. Celebrity guests attending the swanky soirée enjoyed an afternoon that included designing floral arrangements (which were later donated to Repeat Roses, per the request of the celebrated duchess) and decadent desserts created by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. While celebrity pals came bearing a bounty of baby gifts, they certainly didn’t leave empty-handed.
